A Howling Recipe Holder

I have been involved with recipe swaps for a while now and I have a ton of them. I had them in a cardboard box, until I could organize them. Once organized, I put them in 6 x 6 albums, but I wanted to do something with my holiday recipes. I knew that I wanted to have them on my kitchen counter so it could serve as a decoration as well as being useful. I had seen some different recipe holder, but didn't like any of the ones I saw. Until now. This is what I came up with.

Here is one that I did. All the recipes are 6 x 6. It is exciting when the package comes in the mail with all the different recipes and being able to see how everyone decorated their recipe.

So, when I was visiting Jennifer in Boise, she took me to a scrapbook store that had a recipe holder that I liked. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the store. The holder was designed to hold 5 1/2 x 8 pages and all my recipes are 6 x 6. I bought to holder, thinking I could change the measurements and make one that would fit my recipes. A year later, and this is what I came up with.

I took the Scaredy Cat paper pack and decorated the recipe holder.

Here is the finished recipe holder, with all the recipes on it. I LOVE how it turned out. I will now be making one for my Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.... holiday recipes.
