YULETIDE Shadow Box

Okay, so I was making a layout for my shadow box for Christmas and I wanted to use this very pretty glitter paper. But I realized that I cut the wrong size for the overlay and had to re-cut it to the proper size. I thought that I might be able to cover my mistake once I started to embellish the layout.
As you can see from this picture, the mistake is on the bottom right side.

Here is the up close of the mistake in the right bottom corner.
But you can see how sparkly the paper is. So pretty!!!

Here is the finished layout for the shadow box.
As you can see, I changed the overlay. Once I started with all the embellishments, the glitter paper was a bit too much.
But don't worry I didn't throw the overlay away.

Here's an up close of the ornament. I cut this out with the Cricut using the cartridges from the Close to My Heart Collection.
I added brads for the "berries" on the holly and added pen line work around the ornament.

All I did for them is add a little glitter on the flowers.

I also added some of the Sparkles Clear Flourishes to the layout.

And as with any crafter, I didn't waste the glitter paper. In the next post, I will show you what I did with the overlay. So come back if you want to see what I did with my mistake.
