A Sparkly Mistake

So the last shoutout I did, I mentioned that I made a mistake while making a layout. I cut the wrong size and then re-cut to the right size, but forgot to change the paper out. I just couldn't throw it away because the paper is so sparkly and beautiful.
Below is a photo of the mistake.

Close up of the mistake.

Here is the finished layout. I love how a mistake turned out to be a beautiful layout.

Close up of the left side.

Close up of the bow. The bow was cut out using the Cricut Collection from Close to My Heart. I also used the Silver Shimmer Trim and a blue brad.

A close up of the Glitter Paper. I don't think the photo does it justice. Close to My Heart sells the Glitter Paper in six different colors. I used the Teal Glitter Paper.

Here is the right side up close.
I cut some of the ornaments from behind the photo mats on the left side and used them to embellish the right side.

Up close of the ornament.

Just a little inspiration that a mistake can turn out to be something wonderful. So don't throw away your mistakes, just re-think or re-create with them.
