September Challenge

Hey there, I'm finally posting this right after we finished the Challenge. Well maybe, just a day late, but I'm not a few weeks late like I was last month. This month we only had three people participate, but they are GOOD ones. Two of us used the NEW paper packs from the new catalog, so it was good to see how the new paper is being used.

We used the book "Magic" from Close to My Heart page 86. If you have this book you can take a look at the pattern, then check back and see how the three of us interpreted the layout.

Here is the first one. It is from Gail Vought and you can reach her at: gail.ctmh.com. She used the paper pack "Nevermore" which is a Halloween paper pack, but this layout is so NOT Halloween. Gail makes layout kits that you can purchase at her workshops and I bought this one. I think I will make an awesome winery layout. The purple and black with the chalkboard accents will be perfect. To bad I don't drink wine.

The next one is Kathie Sharp and you can reach her at kathiesharp.ctmh.com. Out of all of us, Kathie is the only one so far that actually adds pictures on her pages. She is so awesome!

The last one is mine and you can reach me here. I also used the new paper pack Sangria. I just love the colors. Hopefully, we will get more colors on our leaves in San Diego this year. Last year we found three, yes three trees with colors on their leaves. I'm very hopeful this year.

I used some of the Sangria Complements along with the Assortments to embellish the front of the card.

And the trees up close. I used the Cricut Collection from Close to My Heart. I cut the trees out then backed them with some of the colors from Sangria.

Next months challenge is "Cherish" page 52. Can't wait to show you what everyone came up with. See you then.
