Pineapple Calypso

Here is my last layout using the Calypso paper pack. This was a fun paper pack to play with. Very summery and vacation like. If you like paper pack or LOVE IT you need to buy it before it is gone forever. It will be available until the end of August.

Well here is the layout.

I used the Cricut Collection from Close to My Heart to cut the pineapple out. I used two different shades of green for the leaves. I also inked around the edges to give it some depth.

I used one of the zip strip to add the words to the layout. I cut them apart, then mounted them on white before using 3-D foam tape to pop them on the green.

I'm trying real hard to use all my zip strips. It is one of the hardest thing for me to do. I always have them left over after all my layouts and cards are done. I might not have any paper left, but I always have the zip strips left. One day I will take a picture of all the one that are left after my projects are done.

One of the embellishments. I felt that the layout needed something on the page and I like how the brown arrows added that something.

I also added some wooden buttons to the layout.

That is something I always seem to forget as well. Adding more embellishments to the page. I'm wanting to up my layouts with more embellishments as well as some Cricut cuts. I think this is a good start. Hopefully I will remember as I make more layouts.

That is the nice thing about scrapbooking. You can always grow and expand your ideas. The possibles are endless.
