What to do with scraps?

A very quick post today. I went to a team meeting where we do a card swap to get samples of whatever paper pack we are working on for the month. This month the paper pack is Gimme Some Sugar. I needed a card for the swap, so off I was to figure out what card layout that I wanted to do and did it.

Here is the card.

So after I made the card, I had all these scraps leftover. I was going to throw them away, but I have a problem about throw paper away. Especially when the paper is pretty.

So I had to figure out a way to use them. I was going to put them back in the bag until I could come up with an idea, but as I was getting ready to do it some of them were lined up together. So, I came up with this. I glued them down on a strip of paper, then cut around it to make the edges even.

Here is the card I came up with.

I cut out some flowers using the Cricut Collection along with some leaves. Matted the strip border and placed it under the flowers. As well as added some bling in the middle of them.
